Filing cassette for ring binder storage

This clamshell type of filing cassette is made out of a single, solid board sheet with two finger holes (grip holes) on the spine. The cassette is closed (shut) using a silver coloured press-down button. The spine label, which is made from archival paper, is stuck on to the spine using hot animal glue. This type of filing cassette box has over the years proven very successful for the upright storage of sheeted material (in ring binders, file folders, loose sheets and paper documents etc,). They are made from ageing resistant solid board material, 1.3 mm thick, grey-blue/natural white in colour, smooth and dirt-resistant (erasable) due to special surface strengthening, manufactured in accordance with ISO 9706, Photographic Activity Test (PAT) passed successfully.

Material characteristics: ageing resistant material in accordance with ISO 9706, 100% bleached cellulose, free of wooden fibres, pH value 8.0 – 9.5 = acid-free (in accordance with ISO 6588-1-2005), alkaline reserve (buffer) > 3 % natural calcium carbonate (GCC), sizing neutral/synthetic (without alum additive), grey-blue/natural white.
