New in our product range: Honeycomb panels with a thickness of 8.3 mm

KLUG honeycomb panels are made of ageing resistant material in accordance with the DIN ISO 9706. Very suitable as a backing to support large works of art such as graphics, placards, textiles, paintings and wallpapers. The panels are manufactured without the use of optical brightening agents and have passed the Photographic Activity Test (PAT) in accordance with ISO 18916.
The new eight millimeter thick honeycomb panel bridges the gap between the multi-layered corrugated board EF, EB, BC and EBB and the present 13 mm honeycomb panel. It features a high level of stability with regard to deflection and torsion and has a low weight of 1100 gsm. The 140 x 200 cm size is sufficient for most applications. Puzzle joint connections enable us now to produce panels in larger sizes. The thickness of 8 mm is a suitable grooving size for oversize frame profiles. The eight millimeter honeycomb panel can also be used as a sturdy backboard for conservation quality picture framing.
