Trainee craft bookbinder Magdalena Horn receives a prize

"The organiser of this international apprentice competition, as part of the Federal Guild of Arts and Crafts, is the professional group of bookbinders, paper board goods and case/etui makers of Austria in cooperation with the Bund Deutscher Buchbinder e.V. (BDBI) and the Stiftung zur Förderung des Bucheinbandes (SFB) of Switzerland.
All apprentices who are in a training relationship either in Switzerland, Germany or Austria are eligible to participate. The same applies to bookbinders who are in a training relationship in other countries that correspond to the training regulations of the countries organising the competition.

In categories A to C, a book must be included, which will be provided in rough sheets. The execution will be optional in terms of design, technique and choice of materials."

Magdalena Horn's work was awarded the rating "outstanding" by the jury. We congratulate Magdalena Horn and her instructor Anne Hueber on this success.
