Brief information regarding GDPR

A number of issues concerning data protection have changed due to the new General Data Protection Regulation. We have adopted these changes and fulfil our duty to provide information according to Art. 13 and 14 GDPR.

We require your data to fulfil the offer made by our company.

4. Purposes and legal basis of processing
Your data will be processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR. The purpose of processing is your order placed with KLUG-CONSERVATION Walter Klug GmbH & Co. KG.

5. Categories of personal data processed
Our company processes your personal data:
- Surname, first name, contact person, branch, address, e-mail address, telephone, fax
- Gender for determination of form of address
- Creditor number, debtor number

6. Source of data
Your data were obtained directly by us and not from a third party supplier.

7. Recipients or categories of recipients of personal data
Your personal data shall not be transferred to third parties.

8. Period for which personal data will be stored
As far as the maximum storage period of your personal data is concerned, we adhere to the respective storage period prescribed by the law. After this period, relevant data are deleted on a routine basis, provided they are no longer required for fulfilment or initiation of a contract. Due to the nature and complexity of our products, we store your data in our customer database in the long term in order to allow us to process individual and specialised preparation of offers as well as liability and warranty claims. Your rights as a data subject remain unaffected. 

9. Rights of data subject
According to the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you have the following rights as a data subject:

  1. If your personal data are processed, you have the right to obtain information about personal data concerning you (Art. 15 GDPR).
  2. If inaccurate personal data are processed, you have a right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR).
  3. If legal requirements are met, you can demand erasure or restriction of processing as well as exercise a right to object to processing (Art. 17, 18 and 21 GDPR)
  4. If you have consented to data processing or a data processing agreement exists and data processing is carried out by automated means, you may have a right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).
  5. Should you assert one of your rights stated above, KLUG-CONSERVATION Walter Klug GmbH & Co. KG will verify whether the legal requirements are met in this regard.

10. Withdrawal of consent
If you have consented to the processing of your data by our company, you can withdraw this consent at any time.

11. Impossibility of use in case of non-disclosure
We will unfortunately not be able to process an order with you if you do not provide us with the required data.
