Tube inserts made from spirally wound museum board

14.03.2008
New in our product range.

Tubes made from strong and sturdy KLUG museum board, especially in long lengths, were frequently required in the past. Since the requirement was generally only for a few tubes, these could only be offered in the context of a special offer at a high price. To be able to offer tubes for roll storage in arbitrary lengths, spiral wound tube inserts for connecting tubes were developed and have been added to our stock assortment.

These tube inserts fit in tubes with an internal diameter of 150 mm: Article-No. 0191151. The tubes with a diameter of 150 mm can be cut to any desired custom length. The tube inserts are adhered (fixed) to the interior wall of the tube. After delivery the tubes with the inserts can easily be connected to the supplementary tubes. A gummed paper tape can be then used to cover the cutting edge. Article-No. 01911145 - Tube inserts - 145/2,5/500 mm - made from KLUG museum board natural white, interior diameter of the tube fitting: 145 mm, wall thickness: 2,5 mm, length: 500 mm. The roll storage tubes are made from strong, spirally wound, mounting board, quality 017, natural white in colour. The material plies (layers) are stuck with a quality tested neutral lamination adhesive, free of softening agents. Permanency guaranteed (durability) in compliance with the ISO 9706 standard.
