More tube insert sizes now available
Tube inserts made from spirally wound conservation board
Since 2008 KLUG-CONSERVATION has been offering tube inserts for roll archival storage. These connecting tube insert segments were developed in order to create tubes in arbitrary lengths. Now two tubes with diameter of 150 mm and 200 mm can be extended up to the length of 4200 mm. The conservation board material plies are stuck with quality tested, neutral dispersion glue, free of softening agents. The material is ageing resistant in accordance with ISO 9706.

The tubes are cut to size as per customer requirement, half of the length of the insert is then plugged into the tube and can easily be connected to supplementary tube. A gummed paper tape can be then used to cover the cutting edge.
